Simultaneous giant adrenocortical and renal cell carcinoma associated with lead exposure from residual gun pellets after shotgun injury: case report

Abstract Background A case of simultaneous adrenocortical and renal cell carcinoma due to long-term lead exposure from residual gun pellets is a rare relatively unknown topic in the literature. Case presentation We present 43-year-old male patient with giant retroperitoneal tumor. Thirteen years before he had shotgun injury left upper side abdomen are abdominal wall. Extirpation tumor kidney was performed. Histopathological examination described carcinoma. Conclusion Continuous toxic effects traumatic represent likely carcinogenic factors presented patient.
